Park facilities

Our park offers award winning facilities and won the David Bellamy "Gold award" for conservation in 05. Don't take our word for it...

Gardens

All cottages, except Sycamore have a fenced garden area for you to use. These gardens are fenced to waist height and we are happy for you to let your dog off its lead in here. There is a place to sit in the sunshine and relax. There is also the main shared patio area for all to enjoy.

On Site Launderette

We have a laundrette available to our customers.  This has washing machine and tumble dryer.

Local facilities

There is a small shop on the park near the entrance to the park.  This sells a small range of fresh products and those little items you may have left behind.

The local town of Tavistock is a mere 3 miles from us. From here you have all the local amenities including Morrisons, Co-op, Spar and Somerfield.  Plus other shops like Dorothy Perkins, Boots and Superdrug.  With most shops opening 7 days a week

With the pannier market, historic churches and riverside walks it is a great place to visit.  There are also many churches, doctors and a local Casualty department should it be required.

Bus & Trains

We have a bus stop at the end of the drive which will take you into Tavistock.  From here you can travel easily to Plymouth for all major routes and local train station.

WIFI

We are really pleased to be able to offer our customers the chance to connect to “Site Wi-Fi”.  Once at the park you can purchase internet time via your credit card or by purchasing a voucher from the shop.

Prices range from 1 hour – £4.00 1 day £7.00 upwards.  (1/8/09)

We cannot guarantee this service as it is not operated by ourselves.  You need to provide the technology eg laptop to connect to the WI-FI Signal.
