Fabulous stay at Higher Longford Cottages. Cottage was very clean, warm and cozy also covid safe.
Everything you need is in the cottages. Very dog friendly, secure private gardens. As for reviews stating updating needed we found nothing wrong at all with our cottage. Most people staying on Dartmoor with dogs are going to be heading out for walks on the moors then coming back with wet or muddy paws. Personally I want somewhere that my dogs are happy in too and they certainly was at Higher Longford Cottages. Really recommend these cottages right on the edge of Dartmoor National
Park. Well done Higher Longford.

Very acceptable bolt hole for my few days cycling here in Dartmoor. Pretty basic but functional and clean. Usual facilities, smart tv, microwave etc and nice secure garden and patio. Comfortable sofas and good Wi-Fi. Allocated parking outside.

Third time at Higher Longford. Second stay in Oak Cottage. Love how dog friendly it is here. A real home from home. Ideally situated for hikes across Dartmoor. We will be back.

Great Cottage Love our stay. Loved everything. Absolutely stopless. Our dogs loved the garden and the laundrette was a godsend. Will definitely come back.

Great location, cottage kitchen had all we needed. Would come again but in a different cottage with a rear garden and bigger lounge area as the sofa in Ash cottage was very small. The dog walk on site was very handy for first thing in the morning

Michelle is always available and immediately sorts out any niggles or problems – she is rightly proud of the accomodation and the fact that it is honestlty priced but still gives you more than what you pay for: it is quality at an honest price. Been there twice and can’t wait to get back there. Only place I have ever stayed where I feel completely ” at Home”. Dartmoor is just up the hill – Tavy has Tesco, Morrisons and Aldi – great tanniers market with a brilliant cafe at good prices. Love the place….and comming from a Yorkshireman – that is praise indeed. Our dog likes it too…something to do with the rabbits I think….
